EQUITY RELEASE

Hot Property’s preferred bank will consider an equity release for any resident of 60 years of age and over.  In addition, for those over 65 years, there are no taxes to pay.

No payments will be made for the life of the recipient. The policy can be cancelled with a fee of 0.5% in the first five years and 0.25% from five years onwards.

ARRANGING YOUR FINANCE

We recommend we arrange your loan in principle before you start searching for your home in Spain. We will find a mortgage that suits your requirements, at the lowest possible rate, ensuring you have the funds in place once you have found the property that matches your specification.

The bank will request proof of identity and earnings - usually your last three month's salary slips, P60, bank statements, your passport and an employer's reference. If you are self-employed, you will need to accounts for the last two years with a statement from your accountants, recent tax returns and personal bank statements plus your passport. You will also need the offer letter or sales contract and a Nota Simple.
